Question by : WordPress website with shopping cart?
I currently own and manage an onlinew jewelry website with a regular ecommerce hosting plan. It was recently suggested to me that I convert to a wordpress site with a shopping cart. Does any have information I can read about this conversion? Also I had planned on converting my basic ecommerce site to a CS-cart would I still be able to have a CS-cart with wordpress? Does anyone have a site they can share with me that operates like this?

I would suggest you look at something a little more robust than WordPress for your store. Have you checked out Magento? Its free like WordPress but a whole lot more versatile when it comes to a shop. If you marry it up with a good theme like the Ultimento theme, you will have a SEO supercharged store thast is robust flexible and will allow you to grow. Honestly, its a much better way forward than wordpress for a professional Shopping cart.

I would agree that Magento is a better shopping cart solution than Wordpress. Bigger learning curve but worth the effort, especially if you want to scale up.
